We began in September 2023, as a new expression of a Methodist Circuit.
Our role is to be hands on in providing governance, safeguarding, finance, and property support for local Mission Areas around the District.
By providing trusteeship and organisational management, the Bridge Circuit releases local Mission Areas (formerly individual Circuits) to focus their time, energy and activity on local mission and ministry – rather than on 'running everything'.
Our vision is that this approach to 'being a Circuit' will enable the Methodist Church in local communities to take new and adventurous steps to fulfil our shared calling:
to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Support Officer to help support the Circuit and churches. Find out more here.
